Science Advocacy through Education

Emerging technology provides a unique opportunity to introduce science within education. Memristors: the fourth passive component type after resistors, capacitors and inductors, have been discovered, joining a list of other recent scientific proofs turned from theory into fact, including the 2,3 Turing machine, Fermats theorem, and many others. The ability to achieve these proofs and their manifestation in the physical sciences must be preserved and valued in societies, especially in a world where the resources required to solve them are often subsumed under geopolitical, commercial, and other competing interests.
